World Class Internships
"Experience builds skill and success builds confidence. That’s what students in Bridges’ Youth Leadership Academy are getting through an extraordinary partnership with the Smithsonian Institution/Office of Fellowships & Internships and the Arlington County 4-H Extension.  Launched as a pilot in August 2014, Bridges youths interned at a variety of Smithsonian units: National Zoo, Latino Center, Freer-Sackler Galleries, and the Museum of Natural History. After four short weeks, they gained real work experience, leadership skill, and a chance to explore a range of careers. The program is set to rewind this coming August."
