Mother Nature cooperated to provide a glorious backdrop as Bridges to Independence on June 5 held a golf outing and fund-raiser at Army Navy Country Club.
“We extend our heartfelt gratitude to all the participants and sponsors who made the tournament a resounding success,” said Fraser Murdoch, CEO of the social-safety-net organization.
“Your unwavering support and commitment to our cause play a crucial role in transforming the lives of children and families who are experiencing homelessness and fighting against the challenges of poverty right here in Arlington,” Murdoch said.
The foursome of Charles Thomas, Jennifer Burst, Dan Sullivan and Steve Galing, finished first in the competition, followed by the foursome of Andrew Welsh, Matthew Stepnoski and Michael Palamara. Winning individual honors were:
- Longest Drive Women: Keri O’Sullivan.
- Longest Drive Men: Jack Madison.
- Closest to the Pin Women: Dasha Hermosilla.
- Closest to the Pin Men: Aaron Walker.
Sponsors of the event included Amazon, Arlington Strategy, Alexandria Toyota, Insperity and the Ballston Business Improvement District.
