Ryan Murphy is a healthcare executive with 20 years’ experience leading, advising, and managing the growth and operations of healthcare organizations. He serves as Senior Vice President of Operations for Optum providing leadership for workforce management, global strategy, information solutions, and operations management. Ryan’s tenure at Optum has included P&L, business development, product development, and business operations management responsibilities. Prior to joining Optum, Ryan held leadership positions with The Advisory Board Company, Endeavor Health Group, and BearingPoint. 

Originally from Philadelphia, Ryan first came to the area for college and earned a bachelors’ degree in government from Georgetown University. Ryan now considers Arlington home, and has been an Arlington resident for over 20 years.
