Libby Snipe
Director
Libby Snipe is Vice President of Community Impact and Communications at Arlington Community Federal Credit Union. She leads the not-for-profit financial institution’s community engagement and impact initiatives, including financial wellness programs for all ages in partnership with dozens of local nonprofits, schools, and county programs.
Prior to the financial industry, Libby did strategic communications for a variety of nonprofits, including Operation Lifesaver, a national railroad safety nonprofit, and Wolf Trap Foundation for the Performing Arts. In both organizations, she developed brand campaigns to support youth education and empowerment programs.
Libby’s nonprofit leadership experience includes roles as a board member and marketing chair of Bowen McCauley Dance. She volunteered for many years with Girl Scouts of Nation’s Capital and remains active in Alexandria City Public Schools volunteer programs.
Libby lives in Alexandria with her two teenage children.
