Community Services Manager
Yvonne joined Bridges in December 2020 when Bonder & Amanda Johnson Community Development Corporation merged with Bridges. Prior to joining Bridges, she worked for as the Client Service Specialist and was promoted to the Community Services Manager of the community service center in the Green Valley community. Her role is developing and managing relationships that maximize partnerships, funding and volunteers in support of Green Valley client needs. She serves as an integral part of Arlington County’s Integrated Services Committee share and identify community resources for the betterment of clients. Yvonne was born in Vietnam and grew up in New Orleans before moving to New York, where she embraced a more adventure-driven and diversified life experience. She currently resides Alexandria, VA with her three young children. Yvonne received her B.A. in Sociology with a minor in Child Psychology. She graduated with honors from Hunter College in New York. When she is not tirelessly advocating for her clients, she enjoys listening to Jazz and Soul music, reading, and cheering her son Saylor on at his hockey games as well as her daughter Skye at her gymnastics competitions. She also marvels at her oldest daughter Nico, who is almost as tall as she is at the age of 15.
