Brian O’Neill

Interim CEO

Brian R. O’Neill became Interim CEO of Bridges to Independence in February 2022. Prior to the role, he was the GM of The College Funding Coach and the Founder of Flourishing Capital. Previously he was the President, CFO and owner of DeepMile Networks, a services firm providing customized training, organizational performance, analytics, and technology services.  Prior to DeepMile, Brian served as Finance Manager at the CoStar Group, Inc.  At CoStar he held responsibilities in Investor Relations, Financial Planning & Analysis, and Mergers and Acquisitions.  Prior to joining CoStar, Mr. O’Neill worked in Forensics accounting at KPMG and Arthur Andersen.  He earned an MBA from the University of Maryland and a B.S. in Business Administration from the University of Richmond.

Brian joined Bridges’ Board of Directors in 2018 and served on the Finance Committee until January 2022. Brian also is the co-founder of the Dean R. O’Neill Renal Cell Cancer Research Fund, which sponsors a kidney cancer research fellowship program at the the National Institutes of Health in partnership with Foundation for the National Institutes of Health.  Brian has been a Big Brother mentor since 1999.  Brian lives in Arlington with his wife Amanda and their two children Maya and Dean.
