Farewell, Mark

On Friday, September 21st we said goodbye to long-time staff member, Mark Moreau. After 32 years of dedicated service, Mark has certainly left his mark on Bridges to Independence.

“It’s been a wonderful experience for me,” says Mark, “I’ll remember the people and all the wonderful folks that have come together. I think it’s those memories of those folks, and of our clients persevering … that’s probably my biggest takeaway.”

Through his time working at Bridges, Mark has met many different people from different walks of life. “Over the years, I’ve found it important to really try to understand what our folks have gone through and realize that I was blessed to have two loving parents that still love and care for me. A lot of our folks don’t have that stable family life.”

Mark has seen a lot during his time with Bridges. He recounts that “A lot of wonderful memories (come to mind). I’m sure not all our clients have a fond memory of being here, but a lot do. And I think that’s great. It says a lot about our staff and about the program.”

Thank you, Mark, for your dedication and commitment to Bridges’ mission and the families we serve. We are excited to see where your next venture takes you!
